Let It Be: Teachers, Week Five

Week Five

This week is a revision week of listening, performing, composing and musicology. Do a  revision lesson just going over everything briefly. At the end of this week, students are performing their arrangements of Let It Be. As you would have read the assessment task, you will have been filming their progress. You may have filmed each group in weeks 3 and 4, and now you are filming their final performance. So you will need to allow class time this week for practise, as the students know their performance is being put up on the your teachers’ blog.

Also allow time for students to work on their compositions. This is not an assessment. You could choose to make their composition an assessment if you want to. I prefer not to give too many assessments, so I decided to make the composition task just an exercise.

Make sure you revise what you are looking for in their performances.

Next week
